I received my first HMRC phishing email the other day which coincidently came just after I’d been in contact with the HRMC and given them my details online. Reading through the blogsphere it seems many thousands have been targeted with the scam lately.
The email I received was informing me I was due a tax rebate from the previous year and came from service@HMRC.gov.uk. Hotmail alerted me the attached form which I was asked to complete was infected with a virus.
It was an email I so wanted to believe, a tax rebate just before Christmas, perfect! Ha!

Google Adwords - Under Review
I seem to be having a problem with Google adwords at the minute, over 2 weeks ago I launched two campaigns one was approved while the other was placed ‘under review’. The ad campaigns are promoting the same website but the one ‘under review’ is more targeted and the one I had high hopes for.
I’ve tried launching a similar Ad to the one under review by changing the wording but it’s just sent to ‘under review’ like the previous Ad. I’ve attempted to contact Google who say they reply to emails within 24hrs…it’s now been around 5 days and still no reply.
I’m going to try contacting them again today as its starting to get increasingly frustrating logging on day in day out to find the ad is still ‘under view’ and not showing on the network.
In the mean time I’ve played around with Facebook ads and Bing but really want to get the ad up and running on Google.
Ggrrrrrrrr!!

Just 1 day to go...
The time has finally come, in little under 24hrs I will have officially signed off job seekers allowance and be self-employed.
It’s a little scary leaving the security of job seekers allowance but at the same time it’s incredibly exciting to think that everything I earn from here on out will be from my own making.
The Swine Flu Britain website has slowed down considerably of late but is still making enough to cover the costs of 5 websites. Trading Spreads now has a number of affiliate links in place so this week I’m going to concentrate most of my efforts on promoting it.
Fingers crossed for the week ahead

Swine Flu in the UK
The number of swine flu cases is increasing at a staggering rate through out the UK, as a result millions of people are searching online for information. Over the past week I've had a go at creating a user friendly website with up to the minute swine flu news.
The website offers up to date information, breaking news and advice from the NHS.
Check it out!

First Blog, Ever!
I’ve finally got round to it, a blog!
Its been in the pipeline for sometime, I keep hearing about how a blog is good for this and a blog is good for that so I thought I’d take the leap and attempt to write one at least once a week.
I’m not really sure what its going to be about, just ‘things’ I guess, but never the less it will be a blog.
The personal websites just about complete apart from the ‘About Me’ section so it seems the most suitable place to post it along with blogger and maybe Facebook, hmmm?
I apologise in advance for my poor grammar and spelling, even though I use spell checker I still make a bazillion mistakes without fail.
